- Seal registration certificate (inkan shōmei)Issued within the last 3 months
- Registered seal (jitsuin)Stamped on the transfer form and power of attorney

- Compulsory insurance certificate (jibaiseki)If the shaken is still valid

Kei cars need no seal or seal certificate in principle (abolished in Jan 2021).
Special cases — just ask us
Address or name differs from the shaken-sho
A residence certificate (one move), koseki no fuhyō (several moves) or family register (name change) links old and new details.
Owner is a loan company or dealer
Ownership must be released first. Check the "owner" field on your shaken-sho and ask us.
Expired shaken
It cannot be transferred, but we can buy it via deregistration. The documents are almost the same.
Lost a document
The shaken-sho and tax certificate can be reissued, and the recycling ticket replaced. Just ask us.
General guide based on MLIT, the Light Motor Vehicle Inspection Organization and JARC. Requirements may vary by case.

Yes. We buy cars in any condition, including accident-damaged, flood-damaged, non-running and end-of-life cars. Cars that cannot be driven are collected free by tow or flatbed truck.
Appraisal, on-site appraisal and pickup are free. If you are not happy with our offer, you are free to decline.
Everything from appraisal to agreement, pickup and cash payment can be done as soon as the same day. If your documents are ready, the agreement is completed on the spot.
